Hellovenus 헬로비너스 “What are you doing Today” 오늘 뭐해

 

 

 

 Hellovenus is a 6 member group that made it’s debut in May of 2012. Another in the landslide of groups to come out this year. The leader of the group is Yoo Ah Ra  유아라 ( Yoo Ara  아라 ) followed by Song Ju Hee  송주희 ( Alice  앨리스 ), Kwon Na Ram  권나라  (Nara나라 ), Shin Yoon Jo  신윤조 ( Yoojo  윤조 ), Kim Hye Lim  김혜림 ( Lime 라임 ) and the maknae Lee Yoo Young  이유영 ( Yooyoung  유영 ).

  Their latest song/video which is off the second mini album  is called “What are you doing today”  오늘 뭐해 . It has a very nice sound to it with a touch of rap and good harmonies. The song tells of a girl’s first love and how she will be the one who will be forward and not wait for him. The sets and dance choreography are simple but fun. Their costumes which consists of skates and helmet are different but work well with the mood.  I was impressed with the digital imaging that’s adds an element of “ not the norm” to the video. Could this be a trend setter? Less is more so to speak.  I like the direction this group is taking.
