I would like to
introduce everyone to a K-Pop group named " Secret " 시크릿. Their members are Hyo Sung 효성who
is the leader, Zinger 징거 the rapper of the group, Ji
Eun 지은 with
her unique voice is the main vocalist and last but not least is the maknae, Sun
Hwa 선화 who
rounds out the group as a singer/dancer.
They're first digital single was "I want you back" followed by "Magic, Madonna, Shy Boy, Starlight-Moonlight and Love is Move" respectively. Today I’ll talk about the newest song/video called “Poison” 독 from their "Third Mini Album". The setting is of a “speak easy” from the roaring 20’s. Complete with the old time private detective and a plot to steal the loot. At first you may think that the jewels are their poison, but no! TS Entertainment has done a fine job at providing a realistic setting, right down to the vintage car our ladies in red are sitting in.

The dance
portions of the video are a bit too sexy. (not that I’m complaining) I don’t know if it’s a continuation of the “speak
easy theme” or if the company is trying to gather fans. I thought they were
always sexy enough.
The song itself
speaks of a love that can be like poison. Losing “you” to
someone else even when reason tells you different. The combo of theme and song work well by
keeping you wondering. You can see this one or other great videos on my Youtube channel.
Until next time,
Festus
